Topic: Phoenix EdTech Women Chapter: Negotiating for What You Want
In this session, you will learn about the Phoenix ETW organization and learn from the guest speaker, Dr. Jess Albert. Dr. Jess Alberts will lead an interactive discussion addressing how to prepare for a negotiation, effective strategies for engaging the other party to the negotiation, and strategies for opening and closing the deal.
The Phoenix EdTech Women Chapter was launched in May 2018. Meetings are open to the public and held quarterly in various locations in the Phoenix area.
The mission of the EdTech Women (ETW) is to create a networked community for women's leadership in education technology. ETW is comprised of business experts, technologists, designers, and educators working to support the development of women's leadership capacity and opportunity in education technology. ETW builds connections and skills that lead to stronger businesses, better products, and different schools. ETW also creates a community, united on the local, national, international, and digital levels, committed to support and innovation, driven to make change.
The mission is to increase the leadership capacity of women in education technology through inclusivity, visibility, and impact.
