Philippos Savvides

Philippos is the learning technologies manager in EdPlus at ASU. In August 2018, he led the launch of the first fully-online degree in the biological sciences powered by virtual simulations.

Through a collaboration with Google, Lenovo, and Labster, students in the degree use virtual simulations to gain access to on-demand experiences that offer unlimited practice and access to experiences impossible in a physical environment. In this session, we will go over the collaboration, the simulation development process, deployment, and early program results.
