Who better to kick off our fourth annual retreat than our forward-thinking leader: President Michael Crow! By popular demand, we’re excited to share that President Crow will be our keynote speaker, followed by a live Q&A session – submit your question here!

After President Crow’s keynote, Day 1 of Empower will highlight five of the top ideas from the 2020 Empower Event. Leaders from across the university will share their passion, pursuits, and projects while attendees conduct a Strengths, Opportunities, Aspirations, Results (SOAR) analysis and evaluate how the idea guides the ASU IT community. Let’s see which ideas will fly!

Day 2 will give you the wings you need to determine what’s next and give you the foundation you need to soar. As we set sights on a new strategic direction or goals, how do we invite engagement, alignment and innovation?

As you, your team, and the ASU IT community set sights on new strategic direction or goals, how do you invite engagement, alignment, and innovation? What if conversations around strategic change were able to build capacity across the organization to gain support and best service your stakeholders? Dr. Jackie Stavros will discuss the SOAR framework that has been proven to build strategic capacity in organizations.

To finalize our journey we will focus on Open Space Technology. The group will connect with professionals all over ASU to SOAR into the future by rising together to find the next idea to advance ASU.
