Event Description

This one-hour session is reserved for ASU faculty, staff and TAs.

Media Richness Theory suggests that concepts of higher complexity warrant the use of richer media for knowledge transfer. Despite even the best intentions, classes that are too text-heavy can fall short of delivering high-quality learning experiences to students. Learners can get lost in the content, trying to formulate a clear understanding of complex concepts through the use of dry, unengaging learning materials.

Come explore media richness and delve into ways that you can incorporate it into your learning experiences to boost learner interaction and understanding. Engage your students through audio visual components and make your class not only more effective, but more fun as well! In this session, we’ll discuss a multitude of available options for media development and how they will help your students on their path to meeting your learning objectives.
