This 30-minute session is reserved for ASU faculty, staff and TAs.

Step away from traditional discussion board outcomes where students repetitively post and respond to linear topics for points. Let’s evolve discussions into meaningful communication and connection portals amongst peers.

Explore and apply some principles of community pedagogy using Yellowdig Engage, where students are the focus and drivers for their conversations. We’ll review different styles of discussion prompts and improve conversation starters and enticers. Let the grades naturally follow the students who become focused on joining their class community and building a social network.
