New features available this fall
The Digital Maker Studio at the Creativity Commons combines innovative teaching and learning approaches via emerging technology, creating an environment where students feel supported as they investigate, explore and create. Engaging activities include the opportunity for faculty to bring their classes to the space for a guided creative field trip and workshops geared toward newcomers to the creative technology scene.
Additionally, Fork ‘Em Gaming brings an exciting new aspect to the Digital Maker Studio, offering exciting gaming experiences through VR and traditional video gaming consoles. Step into a new world with friends and classmates to embark on new adventures, explore unfamiliar realms and compete in lively multiplayer games.
Lastly, we’re introducing CreativeCollab: a gateway to innovative learning experiences at the intersection of creativity and technology. CreativeCollab offers various services, including personalized consultations, assisted integration of advanced tools into curricula and specialized resources to enhance understanding and use of cutting-edge creative technologies.
While students gain hands-on experience with apps and software geared toward creative expression, faculty can use CreativeCollab’s consulting services to elevate their course materials. With experts at the ready, CreativeCollab partners with faculty eager to upgrade their course designs, helping them advance the experience of the learners they serve and their understanding of 21st-century tools.
