Enterprise Technology’s mission of digital transformation has been dutifully championed by our Chief Operating & Digital Transformation Officer, Jess Evans, throughout her four-plus years of service at Arizona State University. Named as one of the 2021 Top 100 Women in Technology by Technology Magazine, Jess’ accomplishments and contributions – both at ASU and beyond – have been recognized globally. In 2022, she continued to excel and inspire, landing a spot as one of the World’s Most Influential Women in Tech by World’s Leaders magazine.

Now, Evans brings her leadership, expertise and passion to Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee assuming the role of Chief Information Officer. Thrilled to welcome Jess into her new role this coming November, Vanderbilt has published a news article covering her exciting transition.

“I am grateful to Arizona State University and Lev Gonick for the opportunity to advance and lead many technology initiatives and digital transformation efforts at the enterprise level across all of ASU,” said Evans of her time at the New American University. “It was an honor to lead and contribute to ASU, as the University has yet again achieved the most innovative University for the 8th straight year. I will deeply miss my ASU colleagues.”

Though Enterprise Technology will miss Evans greatly, she has left an indelible mark on our office and ASU as a whole, having raised the bar by demonstrating leadership at its most transformative and empowering level.

Please join the teams at Enterprise Technology in wishing Evans all the best in her new role, where she will no doubt continue to trailblaze and innovate, broadening digital horizons for all. For any questions on the transition, please contact Lev Gonick.
