Gartner Services Ending

March 31, 2026

ASU’s contract with Gartner, a leading research and consulting firm, will end on March 31, 2026. Until then, the ASU community may continue to access Gartner research and tools. After that date, all Gartner services listed below will be discontinued.

We are providing early communication so faculty, staff, and students can plan ahead for alternative research or technology evaluation resources.

Impacted Services:

• Core IT Research for Higher Education — Provides research, analysis, and guidance for students, faculty, and IT staff on IT trends, infrastructure, instructional technology, and best practices.
• Gartner for Technical Professionals (GTP) — Offers deep technical research, best practices, and implementation insights for IT professionals.

Access Available Until March 31, 2026

You may continue to use Gartner services until the contract end date.

Recommended Alternative Resource: EDUCAUSE

As we sunset Gartner services, EDUCAUSE is a strong alternative for higher-education technology research, benchmarking, and professional development. It is available to the ASU community.

• Research and analysis focused on higher-education IT
• Annual trend reports (e.g., EDUCAUSE Horizon Report)
• Benchmarking tools, case studies, and implementation guides
