MediaPlus is a media streaming and management platform developed by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in partnership with ASU. This technology utilizes Amazon’s Media Services that scales to meet ASU’s needs with a focus on speed, security and global delivery.
The launch of MediaPlus will include a range of commonly used features.

As of 3/25/24 access to MediaPlus is now automatically provided to all ASU faculty, staff, and student employees.
Log in with your ASURITE username and password at https://mediaplus.asu.edu, or follow the MediaPlus link in any ASU Canvas course to get started.

Support for MediaPlus is accessible through the Experience Center as a single point of access. You may also report issues via the Service Catalog.
Yes, transcription and captioning services are essential for accessibility purposes and to meet ADA requirements. This functionality is a core requirement of the new media streaming platform.
Automatic captioning and transcription was introduced into MediaPlus in July 2022.
MediaPlus is available enterprise-wide to host and deliver media in iCourses or in-person scenarios.
