This transition will enable secure, accessible and consistent web experiences for all community members, as well as ensure ASU’s web standards keep pace with rapidly evolving search technologies and user behaviors. By consolidating its web infrastructure, the University has strengthened its cybersecurity posture, simplified future maintenance and devised a cohesive, user-centered digital experience across its numerous sites.
In addition to these benefits, consolidation under Acquia enables the University to move more swiftly to future Drupal versions, particularly those that will introduce AI features. This means that engineers and developers can deploy updates across all sites and advance the University’s web platform in a coordinated, unified manner, all while laying the groundwork for cutting-edge AI adoption.
These improvements reflect not only the diligence of every team member who advanced this large-scale initiative but also the willingness of University staff to undertake complex, detail-oriented projects in the service of modernizing our digital architecture, improving user experiences, and building a stronger foundation for integrating new technologies.
