Sean Dudley
Sean Dudley began his career at ASU 14 years ago at the Biodesign Institute in the Center for Evolutionary Functional Genomics. About 10 years ago he joined KED and founded the Research technology office (RTO), a technology services organization that provides top-priority support to research administration, faculty, and students.
Topic: Key Performance Indicators
Sean’s organization is the only university-based ISO 9001 certified research technology office in the United States. One way that his group, and the broader KED research operations organization, ensures quality and continuous improvement is by designing and deploying Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). These indicators can be tricky to develop, hard to monitor, and yet they are critically important for driving efficiency while improving the happiness of customers.
This session is intended for all audiences. Sean, who recently completed Six Sigma Black Belt certification training through Fulton Schools of Engineering, will discuss use cases and examples, lessons learned, and other techniques for deploying KPIs to advance your service activities.
