• Worked over 15 years in a zoo creating, leading, and maintain programs with students and volunteers.
• Experience in animal behavior and training with animals and people!
• Experience in creating and managing educational and charitable projects, writing programs for young children and their families, coordinating full weekend programs and itinerary, and coordinating programs and events for wounded warriors and their families. 
• Experience in leading and mentoring adults and students in both informal and formal settings.

During this informative and engaging Lunch and Learn session, attendees will learn the many different opportunities to volunteer, champion for and mentor students in SciTech Institute’s Chief Science Officer program. Help building tomorrow’s global leaders by empowering students today. Together, we can make it happen!

• Be a CHAMPION: advocate for the Chief Science Officer initiative and the students in the program.
• VOLUNTEER your time:  help students learn about STEM and the company you work for a few times throughout the year.
• Empower, educate, support and connect being a MENTOR: commit to one school for the entire school year to help the students grow leadership and occupational skills and explore STEM careers.
