As Arizona State University develops new approaches to empowering learners around the use of their own data, it is important we ask ourselves and our communities: how can we create a “culture of privacy” at ASU, let alone promote one in the world at large?
In association with the National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA), ASU is celebrating Data Privacy Day by endeavoring to answer this question. Data Privacy Day is an international effort that encourages individuals and businesses to have an awareness of their digital privacy.
This year, Arizona State University will lead a discussion about data privacy during a virtual fireside chat with Donna Kidwell, ASU's Chief Information Security and Digital Trust Officer. Kidwell will be joined by keynote speaker Caitlin Fennessy, who will be lending her expertise as the Vice President and Chief Knowledge Officer at the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
Join us virtually from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. MST on Friday, January 27 for an informative discussion surrounding current trends, challenges and the trajectory of data privacy alongside a cyber-savvy student panel.
We look forward to #StayingSafeOnline with you while you level-up the role you play in keeping your data and digital environments safe!
Tune in to hear from ASU's Chief Information Security and Digital Trust Officer, Donna Kidwell and Caitlin Fennessy, VP & Chief Knowledge Officer at International Association of Privacy Professionals.
