AI innovations at scale: The AI Journey at ASU continues
The third publication of The AI Journey at Arizona State University examines AI innovations at scale for the most innovative university in the nation.
The publication includes foreword remarks from ASU President Michael M. Crow and University Provost Nancy Gonzales: “AI is not abstract for our community,” shares Provost Gonzales. “It is a tool woven into courses, research and creative practice.”
The publication explores AI at scale through human-centered stories of innovation, discovery and exploration. We feature a variety of AI-ready students and graduates, and highlight the role of today’s universities to bridge education to employment pathways. Meet two of ASU’s newest AI Scholars — including Annie Anderson from our cover — dive into the AI solution designed by students for a local organization and learn how ASU empowers the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Readers are also introduced to the CreateAI toolkit – built by ASU, for ASU – in two featured stories: Scaling intelligence: CreateAI and ASU’s agentic future (pages 12-15) and CreateAI toolkit powers next wave of AI innovations at ASU (pages 30-33).
When it comes to AI for research and discovery, ASU leads the way. Four feature stories highlight AI for discovery across health, robotics, cybersecurity and transportation.
And as we look towards the future of agentic AI, ASU is ready to meet the moment. From scaling agentic AI tools within CreateAI to hosting a global gathering of 650+ education and industry leaders, ASU is charting the future of agentic AI and the student experience.
