Growth mindset, north stars and advancing the human impact of technology
On Thursday, August 1, over 450 team members convened at the quarterly Town Hall, where Enterprise Technology unveiled the latest strategic priorities for the upcoming 2025 fiscal year. ASU’s CIO Lev Gonick underscored the importance of mindset in his opening keynote, “There is a lot of fluidity happening and mindset matters. We aim to leverage the Enterprise Technology commitment and our culture to foster a mindset focused on growth in the coming year."
Enterprise Technology empowers a global community of students, faculty and staff by enabling human-centered digital experiences that elevate the future of education, discovery and societal advancement. Our priorities are anchored in ASU’s Design Aspirations and position ourselves as a global beacon for integrating emerging and disruptive technology into learning ecosystems, communications and operations all in support of amplifying human potential throughout the educational journey of our community.
Our commitment to deliver an exceptional human-centered technology experience is underscored by these nine strategic priorities and objectives that guide our teams' collaborative work in support of ASU Enterprises.

Nine priorities, many impact areas
With dedication to the communities we serve, the following priorities are north stars for the FY25 year. Our strategic priorities for the coming year are designed to drive student and learner success, harness the power of generative AI for scalable learning and transform our institution towards an AI-centric organization.
We will focus on alignment and agility, continue our focus on cybersecurity, foster social impact and inclusive excellence and leverage data, analytics and insights. Lastly, we aim to enable cutting-edge technology and build a resilient digital infrastructure.
AI for scaled learning
Among the nine new priorities, there is immense focus on AI for scaled learning across the enterprise. Specifically, our teams are seeking to create environments to support AI platforms and related technologies like XR at scale and the development of custom platforms that empower community members to design and build AI-powered solutions in a user-friendly and secure setting. This priority also focuses on integrating data sources for personalized learner feedback, enhancing educational coaching from pre-med through career stages.
Societal impact
Our teams continue to be dedicated to advancing the communities we serve through strategic partnerships, digital inclusion and technological innovation. This upcoming year, we are focused on advancing the Maricopa County Broadband Initiative, fostering relationships with the Sun Corridor Network and the Digital Equity Institute, and building partnerships with state, federal and community organizations.
Exceptional human-centered technology experience
We are committed to enhancing faculty and staff success through unified and optimized technology experiences. By leveraging a robust customer data platform, we aim to personalize and streamline digital interactions, optimizing processes and technologies for financial aid and matriculation to expedite admissions.
We are advancing enterprise-scale solutions for service management, collaboration and workflow optimization while proactively evaluating AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to drive innovation across ASU.
