Arizona State University is designed to evolve through constant innovation. Our New American University model includes a promise to advance research and discovery of public value and to assume fundamental responsibility for the economic, social and cultural health of the communities ASU serves.

That promise, along with our focus on access and inclusion, drives ASU’s embrace of AI. It is a tool that amplifies human capability, compresses time and is an equalizer that redistributes power.

ASU is putting it to work. In our schools of engineering and medicine, we are preparing students to design and implement the digital, AI and software-driven medical technologies that are shaping modern clinical care.

In our classrooms, we are building agentic systems that coordinate to deliver personalized learning at scale.

Across our research enterprises, from the Global Futures Lab to the School of Technology for Public Health, we are developing data-driven approaches that deliver measurable impact that will serve the state of Arizona and beyond.

This is AI in motion. Applied. Coordinated. Aligned with mission and purpose. The work in these pages is not about technology for its own sake. It is about using AI to solve problems faster, serve more people and advance discovery in ways that matter. It is about leading the way to help others engage while building a university that serves the learners of today who will meet the challenges and create the opportunities of the future.

Human learning will always be at the center of change, mastering the complexities of technological change.

At ASU, we believe it is our responsibility to lead at this time of rapid change. We have designed a university capable of meeting this moment, and we are committed to helping others learn how to make it their moment as well.
