UTO Project Request/Review Process

The University Technology office (UTO) is responsible for technology projects in support of the overall mission of the University.  Project requests are initiated from units external to the UTO as well as from within the UTO.  Administering the requests received has been a challenge in respect to project priorities as well as available resources.  The “UTO Project Request/Review Process” has been developed to provide the UTO a means to effectively and efficiently review and manage project requests.  The standards used in the development of this process are within the guidelines established by the Project Management Institute in the “Project Management Book of Knowledge” (PMBOK).
