- Current students and alumni: 5 GB
- Staff, Faculty and Retired Employees: 20 GB
- Student workers: 20 GB, however, this allotment will be reduced to 5GB if the student leaves their role.
- Shared drives: 20 GB
Alternative storage options include Dropbox and OneDrive.

Yes. If you are a student or alumnus, your storage must be reduced to 5 GB or less. Excess data will be subject to deletion on May 29, 2023.
If you are a staff member, student worker, retiree or faculty member, your storage must be reduced to 20 GB or less. Excess data will be subject to deletion on May 29, 2023.
Please note: Once a student worker exits their role, their storage allotment will be reduced to 5 GB.
After the final deadline of May 29, 2023 passes, community members whose data exceeds their storage allotment will be unable to add additional files. Those individuals can still access their Workspace, however, additional data will not be accepted. Their excess data will also be subject to deletion following this date.
For faculty:
Additional storage can be purchased by college/department units for $3,600.00 per 10 TBs, annually. Any Unit that is interested in this option for their users may email GoogleDriveIncrease@asu.edu. Please note that it will take time and development work to enable this feature - we appreciate your patience and understanding.
For students, retirees, and alumni:
No out-of-pocket purchase options are available.
For researchers:

Staff and Faculty will still be able to create shared drives, but students will no longer have the ability to create a shared drive.

Yes. If you are a student, faculty or staff member, alumni, a retired employee, or associated with ASU, your storage limit across all Google workspaces will be reduced. This includes shared drives.
