Google Workspace restructuring: current students and alumni
If you are a current student or alumnus, your Google Workspace storage is limited to 5 GB. If your ASU Google Workspace account exceeds 5 GB of storage, it must be reduced to that amount or lesser in accordance with Google’s new storage model. Excess data will be subject to deletion on May 29, 2023.
To reduce the number of files exceeding your allotted 5 GB, we encourage you to first ensure any personal, recreational, non-academic or work-related files are moved to a non-ASU storage solution, as per ASU Academic Affairs Manual - ADC 125. Services to consider include Microsoft OneDrive and Dropbox.
To avoid future disruptions to your preferred data storage solution(s), please evaluate whether or not the files you migrate are still pertinent to your needs.
