The Trusted Learner Network (TLN) is a new, secure, and decentralized approach to recording, curating, and sharing learner data on abilities and skills across the learner’s lifespan.

Individuals need opportunities for formal instruction across their lifespan. The three-phase life of education, work, and retirement is no longer a reality for a growing cross-section of people around the world. Likewise, the kinds of education and training are also diversifying, expanding beyond disciplinary degrees and embracing a wider array of credentialing formats, from nano-degrees, to micro-credentials, to certificates all of which may or may not be credit-bearing.

ASU University City Exchange (UCX) will host a roundtable discussion on the definitions of the “smart city” including the both intelligent policy making and the judicious application of new of technologies.  Special attention will be paid to outcomes, whether intended or otherwise, especially in the promotion of efficiency, equity, and even, democracy.

US Ignite is accelerating the smart city movement – and creating value for an entire ecosystem – by guiding communities into the connected future, creating a path for private sector growth, and advancing technology research that’s at the heart of smart city development. We are holding our Fall Board Meeting in Phoenix on November 14, 2019.

  1. Is a supplier allowed to perform a proof of concept (POC) during an RFP? A POC is not possible with any one particular supplier, while an RFP is in process. However, you can make a POC a part of the final RFP, as long as you are giving every supplier a chance to prove their concept. Please consider this could take a lot of internal bandwidth.

  2. Can pilots be included into the RFP process? A pilot can be included into the RFP process once the supplier has been selected.
